System Engineer Playout (m/f/d) - Location Munich

MBS Holding GmbH (MBS) is a quality provider of critical communication services and infrastructure. As an owner-managed, internationally active company, we employ more than 160 people in Germany, France and Poland.

We operate data and voice communications via satellite and data networks - worldwide and in space. Our expertise ranges from traditional satellite services to customised applications in the fields of new space, automation and artificial intelligence.

The full season was founded as part of a carve-out with a transfer of operations. The new operating unit has been active in the field of content management, playout and distribution both nationally and internationally since 1996. The company employs around 60 people at its headquarters in Munich/ Unterföhring.

The aim of the new company is to utilise the existing service portfolio and customer base to transform the business from a simple service model into a trust-based partnership model with providers and customers in order to develop growth opportunities.

• Management of technical sub-projects for video services in customer projects or platform projects.
• Supporting the product development process with your technical expertise and practical tests.
• Monitoring the budget and on-time realisation of projects to the highest quality.
• Working closely with our technical and engineering teams.
• Conduct training and product demonstrations for customers.
• 3rd level support for our 24/7 playout operations.

• A university degree (engineering, technology, computer science or similar) and good technical understanding or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the development of broadcast solutions 
• Sound knowledge in the areas of content management, playout solutions, VOD and distribution
• Recognising economic contexts
• Good industry and market knowledge with an existing network
• Experience in project management is an advantage
• High level of intercultural competence and strong negotiation skills
• Systemic thinking to quickly grasp complex technical issues and present them to stakeholders in a simple and understandable way
• Required language skills: English - C2
