Project Manager New Space (m/f/d)

As part of the ‘New Space’ team, you will help develop the products for a new satellite constellation.

• Management of a V-model-based customer project: You are responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of a complex project with national and international contractors. Your goal is to successfully achieve all project objectives.
• Responsibility for the timely launch of the space mission: You will ensure that the mission is launched on time by coordinating all relevant resources and monitoring progress.
• Acting on your own responsibility: You feel confident in dealing with stakeholders at different hierarchical levels. Both internally and on the customer and supplier side. We are in a highly dynamic environment in which decisions and changes of direction often have to be made at short notice.
• Documentation: Due to the highly dynamic nature of this environment, it is extremely important to document individual decisions and changes in direction.

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in (aerospace) engineering or a related field.
• You already have experience in managing international projects and know how to effectively coordinate different stakeholders.
• You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English to communicate effectively with international partners
• A passion for satellites and space is desirable as it will help you to navigate our specialised environment.
• A basic understanding of satellite design and manufacturing is an advantage to better overcome technical challenges.
• Required language skills: English - B2
