UX Designer (m/f/d)

As part of the ‘New Space’ team, you will help develop the products for a new satellite constellation.

• Developing an intuitive user interface: As part of our team, you will work on designing a user-friendly and appealing interface for our applications. Your goal is to optimise the user experience and improve the interaction with our product.
• Considering flexibility and usability: You will help the team find a balance between flexibility, usability and user experience to ensure that our applications are both functional and attractive.
• Keeping up to date with design trends: You will stay on top of the latest design trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain innovative and contemporary.
• Team Collaboration: You will work closely with other team members to ensure consistency and integrity in design and user experience across the application.
• Provide HTML/CSS: At a minimum, you will create HTML/CSS for other team members to support the implementation of the design.
• Animation and asset management: You will animate, design and maintain digital assets to enhance the visual appeal of our applications.

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, design or a related field.
• You have a sound knowledge of HTML and CSS and can use these effectively to design user interfaces.
• You are adept at using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Affinity and have experience with animations (e.g. Rive).
• You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English to work effectively in a team.
• A passion for satellites and space is desirable as it will help you to navigate our specialised environment.
• Basic knowledge of Svelte and Tailwind is an advantage to develop modern web applications.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git and GitLab) is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of Markdown is an advantage for the documentation of your designs.
• Required language skills: English - B2
