Working Student Ground Segment Software (m/f/d)

As part of the ‘New Space’ team, you will help develop the products for a new satellite constellation.

• Participation in the product development team: You will be actively involved in the development of the backend and frontend of our new product in the New Space department.
• Shaping the product: You will actively contribute to the design of our product on a UX and technological level and contribute your ideas to improve the user experience.
• Keeping up to date with trends and technologies: You stay informed about the latest trends and technologies to ensure that our solutions are innovative and contemporary.

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme in computer science or a related field.
• You can communicate well in English to work effectively in a team.
• A passion for satellites and space is desirable as it will help you to navigate our specialised environment.
• Knowledge of Git and GitLab CI/CD is an advantage to support team collaboration.
• A good foundation in Java (or another JVM-based language) and Type-Script will help you to develop our software solutions.
• A basic understanding of Single Page Applications with Svelte is desirable to develop modern web applications.
• Required language skills: English - B2
