In your role as Teamlead Accounting, you will carry overall responsibility for our financial accounting and ensure that our financial statements, processes, and reporting are always reliable, efficient, and future-oriented.
In this function, you will report to the Head of Finance and Business Administration (FBA).
Your tasks:
- Disciplinary leadership of 5 employees and further development of the accounting team
- Overall responsibility for financial accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets accounting
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) as well as collaboration on consolidation matters
- Responsibility for payment transactions, dunning processes, and account reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance with tax and commercial law requirements and acting as the point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and authorities
- Participation in budget planning, forecasts, cash flow, and liquidity management
- Continuous optimization of accounting processes, particularly with regard to digitalization and automation
Your profile:
- Degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance or a comparable qualification (e.g. certified accountant)
- Several years of professional experience and solid leadership experience in accounting
- Sound knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB); IFRS knowledge is a plus
- Confident handling of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style combined with a high level of reliability
- Strong communication skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external partners
- Required language skills: German – C1, English – B2
