As a Junior Network Administrator (m/f/d), you will support our experienced IT team in maintaining and developing our network infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with exciting topics related to satellite communication, network operation and IT security, and gain valuable practical experience. At our unique location in Usingen, you will start your career in an international environment with innovative technologies.

Your tasks
  • Support with the administration, configuration and maintenance of the network infrastructure
  • Assistance with the planning and implementation of internal network projects in collaboration with the specialist departments
  • Fault analysis and troubleshooting as part of 1st and 2nd level support
  • Support in the documentation of networks, systems and processes
  • Collaboration in the analysis and improvement of network performance, availability and security
  • Gradual familiarisation with topics such as routing, firewall management and network monitoring
Your profile
  • Completed training in the IT field (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable qualification
  • Initial practical experience in network administration is an advantage (e.g. through internships, training or private projects)
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, switching and routing
  • Interest in network technologies and motivation to familiarise yourself with new topics
  • Ideally, initial experience with Cisco products or comparable hardware
  • Ability to work in a team, willingness to learn and a structured, careful approach to work
  • Required language skills: German - C1, English - B1
  • Willingness to develop further and to provide occasional support outside of regular working hours
