IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

As an IT Project Manager (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of complex IT projects. You will manage internal teams, external service providers, and stakeholders, contributing significantly to the modernization and optimization of our IT infrastructure — from network and cloud solutions to IT security initiatives. Based at one of our sites in Usingen (near Frankfurt am Main), Hamburg, or Munich, you will lead projects in an international environment with innovative technologies and actively shape the digital future of MBS.

• Independent planning, management, and execution of IT projects, particularly in the areas of migration, infrastructure modernization, and IT security
• Analysis of the existing IT landscape, identification of weaknesses, and derivation of optimization measures
• Responsibility for ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
• Coordination of project teams, resource planning, and ongoing communication with all stakeholders
• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, ensuring compliance with security standards and system availability
• Close collaboration with the Head of IT, management, and internal departments
• Coordination of external service providers and management of project-related cooperation
• Early identification of risks and proactive implementation of corrective actions

• Degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable qualification in the IT field
• Several years of professional experience in IT project management, ideally with a focus on infrastructure projects, IT migrations, and modernization initiatives
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud technologies, and IT security; experience with Microsoft environments and Azure is an advantage
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, decisiveness, and strong organizational skills
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and lead teams effectively
• High sense of responsibility, commitment, and willingness to go the extra mile
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis
• Required language skills: German – C1, English – C1
