Marketing Manager Government & Defense (m/f/d)

MBS is a German owner-managed company specializing in secure communications and space, with around 300 employees across the group. With our own ground stations in Germany and Europe as well as operational payloads in orbit, we have been developing and operating space-based solutions for government and industrial customers worldwide for almost 50 years. Our core services include satellite communications, satellite-based intelligence, and Managed Gateways.

In the Government & Defense division, we develop, implement, and operate resilient satellite communication solutions for crisis and defense scenarios.

As a Marketing Manager Government & Defense (m/f/d), you are responsible for the targeted communication of our solution portfolio and our expertise to government agencies, armed forces, and partners.

• Strategic positioning and clear communication of our solutions for government, defense, public authorities, and organizations with security responsibilities
• Strengthening brand perception in a security-critical environment through the planning, management, and implementation of cross-media marketing campaigns
• Presenting target-group-oriented content that conveys complex technologies in an understandable and compelling way
• Supporting business development through market, competitor, and trend analyses, particularly for evaluating new projects, technologies, and regions
• You work in close coordination with the marketing team, the sales department, and external service providers

• Completed studies in marketing, communications, business, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of marketing experience, preferably in the fields of defense and public security
• Strong understanding of political and institutional structures and sensitivity to security-critical topics
• Strategic thinking and creativity go hand in hand for you
• Analytical skills to identify market trends and derive successful marketing initiatives
• Enjoyment of dynamic teamwork and the implementation of demanding projects
• Required language skills: German – C1, English – C1
