Teamlead IT Operations (m/f/d)

As Teamlead IT Operations (m/f/d), you are the backbone of our IT infrastructure and lead a highly motivated team that ensures the stability, security, and performance of our systems. You orchestrate the operation of servers, storage, cloud services, and core applications with vision and passion, and continuously develop our IT landscape—from automation solutions to backup and recovery strategies to the optimization of hybrid infrastructures. As a leader, mentor, and coordinator, you inspire your team, design processes to be efficient and reliable, and ensure that technological excellence, team spirit, and corporate responsibility are evident every day.

• Technical and managerial leadership of the central infrastructure team, consisting of system administrators, Linux administrators, and IT colleagues from the subsidiary
• Ensuring smooth and secure data center operations: Overseeing the IT infrastructure through effective monitoring, rapid troubleshooting, and continuous optimization
• Management, coordination, and further development of server environments, storage, backup/recovery, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure
• 2nd- and 3rd-level support: Expert handling of all issues related to IT operations, including escalation management
• Resource planning, coaching, and professional development of team members
• Planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, migrations, and optimizations
• Close collaboration with business units, external service providers, and IT management to translate business requirements into stable IT solutions
• Monitoring, analysis, and reporting of relevant KPIs to ensure service quality

• A degree in (Business) Computer Science or comparable IT training
• Several years of professional experience in IT operations, system administration, or infrastructure management
• In-depth knowledge of server and storage environments, virtualization, cloud services, and hybrid IT landscapes
• Proven experience in leading and developing IT teams
• Experience in project management and the implementation of complex infrastructure projects
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as a structured and analytical approach to work
• Strong communication skills, service-oriented, and willing to take on responsibility
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes (e.g., incident, problem, and change management)
• Required language skills: German – C1, English – C1
