To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Junior Sales Engineer (m/f/d): the perfect combination of tech enthusiast and sales talent. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with strategic thinking and support our customers from the initial idea through to a tailored solution. You act as the bridge between innovation and implementation, actively shaping the future of satellite communications.

Your tasks
  • Design solutions: Translate customer requirements into technical concepts and proposals for critical communication networks
  • Bring offers to life: Develop cost structures and support the technical preparation of bids and tenders
  • Evaluate technologies: Test new solutions and assess their relevance and potential for MBS
  • Inspire customers: Act as a technical point of contact for customers and partners – from installation through to 3rd level support
  • Documentation & knowledge sharing: Prepare technical content in a clear and structured way and communicate it internally and externally
Your profile
  • Education: Degree in a technical field (e.g. telecommunications, electrical engineering) or a technical vocational qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Basic understanding of communication networks
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and understandable way – internally and externally
  • Skills: Structured and self-organized working style, strong problem-solving skills, and a high willingness to learn
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
  • Trustworthiness and discretion, combined with the willingness to undergo a security clearance in accordance with § 8 of the German Security Clearance Act (SÜG) (Level Ü2 or higher)
  • Required language skills: English – C1, German – C2

 

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of satellite communications
  • Hands-on experience with data networks, IP networks, and routing
  • Basic knowledge of IT security
  • Initial exposure to project management
