To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a dedicated professional in the area of Sales Back Office / Bid Management who will contribute to the successful preparation and management of proposals and tenders through strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and a pronounced quality mindset.

Your tasks
  • Managing and coordinating national and international bid projects, from the bid/no-bid decision to the preparation of the final proposal
  • Structuring and documenting customer requirements and evaluating tenders with regard to commercial, technical, and legal aspects
  • Preparing, coordinating, and tracking proposals in close collaboration with Project Management and Sales
  • Monitoring deadlines, costs, and quality, and ensuring complete and accurate proposal documentation
  • Organizing and moderating internal coordination meetings to ensure efficient proposal development
  • Supporting the Sales and Sales Engineering teams in developing solutions, preparing proposals, and further developing the solution portfolio
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal sales processes, including back-office and sales support activities
  • Supporting the sales team during customer on-site events and trade fairs, as well as handling customer communication via phone and email
  • Ensuring the quality of proposal documentation through structured reviews for completeness, consistency, formal accuracy, and compliance with internal standards and customer-specific requirements
Your profile
  • Degree in a technical or business-related field, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience (military background is an advantage)
  • Professional experience in a comparable role in Bid Management, Sales, or Project Management, preferably within the defense industry
  • Strong technical affinity and solid understanding of sales and commercial contexts
  • Several years of experience in proposal or project business, ideally within the public sector
  • Independent and structured working style with strong organizational and communication skills and willingness to travel occasionally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Required language skills: German – C1, English – C1
