Assistant to the Site Manager (m/f/d)

MBS is a German owner-managed company specializing in secure communications and space, with around 300 employees across the group. With our own ground stations in Germany and Europe as well as operational payloads in orbit, we have been developing and operating space-based solutions for government and industrial customers worldwide for almost 50 years. Our core services include satellite communications, satellite-based intelligence, and Managed Gateways.

As an Assistant to the Site Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our office and serve as the central point of contact for organizational and administrative matters.

• Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office and take overall responsibility for maintaining a smooth and well-organized working environment
• Coordinate and manage all administrative processes, including calendar management, document filing, and the structured administration of relevant records
• Support the Finance team with accounting-related administrative tasks, including bookkeeping preparation and the processing of travel expense claims
• Coordinate the procurement of office supplies and manage external service providers
• Organize and coordinate meetings, internal events, and visitor reception, ensuring a professional experience for guests and business partners
• Act as a certified First Aider or be willing to complete the required training to take on this role

• Several years of experience in Office Management, Back Office, or a comparable administrative role
• A structured, independent, and reliable way of working
• Excellent organizational skills combined with a strong service-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ideally, initial experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
• Willingness to complete training and serve as a certified First Aider
• Required language skills: German (C1), English (B2)
